Dino Melaye - A Nation in Motion
This is the best I have read today. It is on Dino Melaye - the Senator from Kogi state. Few hours ago, he was arrested at the airport, then released, and now the Police wants to re-arrest him. It is like a scene from one of Wole Soyinka’s plays. But that is a nation. Premium Times explains the paralysis:
The development could further surprise Nigerians who have long been shocked at the police’s apparent failure to enforce their own arrest warrant. Mr Melaye was declared wanted over a month ago, but he still has at least two police officers in his security detail.
The senator also reportedly met with Kogi police commissioner, the same officer that declared him wanted, at a burial event for a later House of Representatives member from Kogi State two weeks ago
Then few days ago, the government of South Korea is working hard to get public workers to stop working too hard. Yes, it is a problem because there government workers over-work. The new strategy is to force all computers to go blank at 8pm so that people can go home.
