The youth group is based in Kibera and uses bones to make necklaces, earrings, spoon handles and bangles. These traditionalists by nature make some of the most beautiful bone crafted jewellery.
A group of craftspeople, designers and artists who create jewelry out of old butcher bones in a small self-built workshop at the edge of Kibera, one of Africa’s largest slums. Employing 23 members full-time, Victorious trains and employs at-risk youth in bonecraft.
Granted the use of their land free-of-charge by the local authority, Victorious wishes to build a safe and sturdy structure with proper beams, flooring, walls and roofing to house their growing number of bone processing machines.
