After two years, Claire Danes has finally shared the name of her third child.
Claire Danes is sharing a glimpse of her own territory. The My So-Called Life actress shared some endearing information about her children, including the name of her daughter, Shay, two years after the birth of her third child with husband Hugh Dancy.
“I love watching toddlers dance, when they jump [and] do the bouncing thing,” Claire stated on the Good Hang podcast hosted by Amy Poehler on January 27. “And Shay, my baby, she's very in her head and dreamy and sometimes she'll do this kind of [head-swaying] dance. I'm like, ‘That's fabulous.’”
"She's really fun," the 46-year-old said about the 2-year-old, whose name she had not yet disclosed.

Shay's 13-year-old older brother Cyrus isn't the biggest fan of dancing, despite Shay's love for it.
“My eldest son, he turned 13 and it's like a superpower I have,” the Homeland star, who also has a 7-year-old son named Rowan, went on. “A little tiny wiggle in public, he will cross the street. I can mortify him within a millisecond.”
Claire enjoys spending her leisure time with her children outside of dancing gatherings. She actually "went hard on the embroidery for a while" and began dressing her kids.
“I embroidered onesies for, of course, all of my kids,” she clarified, then mentioned that she ran out of energy with her "unlikely" third baby. “I have [an unfinished] one for Shay, this third child. She doesn't wear onesies anymore. I've missed that chance.”
Claire tells Amy, “I’m confessing. I’m actually confessing to you. It’s by my bed, half-done.”
The Beast in Me actress acknowledged that she was ill-prepared for her third kid, stating that she "totally" freaked out when she found out she was unexpectedly pregnant with Shay at the age of 44.
"I called my OBGYN in convulsive tears,” she stated. “It was all meltdown."
Claire acknowledged her later-life pregnancy, saying, "None of this was by design," even though she has undoubtedly adapted to life as a mother of three. "I didn't know it was physically possible.”
Claire is just one of many Hollywood celebrities who have expanded their families in recent years.
