Football legend Diego Maradona Is Dead
Quote from Ndubuisi Ekekwe on November 25, 2020, 12:30 PM
Football legend Diego Maradona, and one of the greatest players of all time, has died at the age of 60. The mercurial midfielder suffered a heart attack at his Buenos Aires home. Maradona was captain when Argentina won the 1986 World Cup, scoring the famous 'Hand of God' goal against England in the quarter-finals.
His dribbling quality brought the word "maradona" into the Nigerian lexicon when politicians could not understand former military ruler IBB, and his yoyo transition to democracy.
Football misses one of its finest!
