How To Setup and Use eNaira

We are excited to introduce our national digital currency, eNaira, to you. It is a new medium of exchange and store of value launched by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Monday, 25th of October 2021.
The eNaira was issued to provide you with fast, safe, easy and affordable means of sending and receiving money. Compared to cash, it offers a wide range of secured payment possibilities.
How it works:
- Person to Person
- Person to Business/ Business to Person
- Person to Government/ Government to Person
- Cash or Bank account to eNaira wallet; and
- eNaira wallet to cash or bank account
To start transacting using the digital currency, you can download the eNaira Speed Wallet App from Google Play Store or Apple Store, select [the bank] as your preferred bank and sign up. You can fund your eNaira wallet directly from your [the bank] Mobile App, Internet Banking (going live in the coming week) and by visiting any of our branches nationwide.
