Nigeria Should Declare State of Emergency on Security
Quote from Ndubuisi Ekekwe on December 13, 2020, 11:06 AM
It is becoming very hard to comment on Nigeria’s affairs without being seen as a partisan. But I think it is time we declare a state of emergency on Nigeria’s security paralysis. That about “600” pupils might have been kidnapped (source: The Guardian), if confirmed, is another valley for the nation.
Mr. President, you need to do more. I mean it, your grade is E on security. Whatever you are doing is not working, and I challenge you as a fellow citizen, to open a new playbook. Your state, Katsina state, needs help just as most parts of the nation.
To the good people of Katsina state, we sympathize with all of you. But this evil has to end. A nation cannot be run this way!
