Selma Blair recently shared a report on her experience with multiple sclerosis and hinted at a possible return to acting.

Selma Blair is appreciative of her positive mood. After several rounds of chemotherapy and stem cell treatment, the Cruel Intentions actress, who revealed her multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis in 2018, gave a favorable update on her health, stating that she has been relapse-free for a "couple of years."

“That, of course, means the world to me that I’m not, at this moment, accumulating more damage in my brain,” she stated in a November 22 interview with Stellar. “I have also made a lot of strides with the vibe of neuroplasticity.”

The actress, whose MS has been in remission since 2021, acknowledged that she feels "very, very lucky" as she went on to support others who are struggling with the autoimmune condition.

“Everyone’s experience with MS is different,” she went on. “I think I do have a certain place [to speak publicly]. My big mouth likes to see what I can do about stigma.”

Selma, 53, is returning to acting now that her health is okay. She has three new performing projects in the works.

“There are some [roles] coming up that I never saw coming,” she made fun of it. “I am excited about getting back into movies.”

Selma, who has a 14-year-old son named Arthur Saint Bleick with her ex-husband Jason Bleick, is also doing well in her romantic life. In 2024, she revealed that she was happily dating a mystery man from the Midwest, but she stated that she was not in a rush to get married, preferring to put motherhood and her health first.

“Fitting anything in as a mother wanting to build a career and figure out when you're going to get your blood treatments in, a boyfriend falls by the wayside really easily,” at that moment, she informed Us Weekly. “That's why I would never want to get married. It's a major setup to fail.”

In her 2021 documentary Introducing, Selma Blair, Selma previously provided a thorough look at her struggle with Multiple Sclerosis.
