Pauline Chalamet from Sex Lives of College Girl and Lucy Liu from Elementary are stepping up to bat, probably in Jimmy Choos. Justin Theroux from The Leftovers, BJ Novak from The Office, and Conrad Ricamora—who is presently playing Mary's husband in Broadway's Oh, Mary! will be joining them.
Helen J. Shen, who created the lead part of Claire in Maybe Happy Ending on Broadway, has also agreed to work on the project, so he is not the only stage celebrity bringing their skills to the fictionalized fashion world.

Blunt portrays Emily Charlton, her former assistant who is now a high-ranking executive at a high-end advertising firm. She has a vivid recall.
As previously revealed, Kenneth Brannaugh will also be returning to the role of Miranda's husband, while Tracie Thoms will play Hathaway's Andy's best friend Lily.
Adrian Grenier, who portrayed Andy's lover and the antagonist of the show Nate Cooper, is one member of the original cast who is not coming back. Since he and Andy appeared to have parted ways at the end of the first movie, his disappearance should not be too shocking.
Both Hathaway and Blunt have previously pondered where their characters ended up, even if the specifics of the plot—and where many of them found themselves nearly 20 years later—have remained secret.
In 2022, Hathaway revealed, “I think that she is writing for a wonderful French women's magazine. I think she's a staff writer and she speaks French fluently. I don't think she's married, but she might have a child or two. I think she's pretty fab."
Meanwhile, Blunt hopes Emily is doing well, “eating a nice French dip sandwich somewhere and she’s just happy.”
“Not a cube of cheese,” she made a lighthearted addition last year, alluding to her character's previous diet. "I hope she's sort of transitioned to a full sandwich.”
Fans are probably going to get their answers sooner rather than later because production began at the end of June.
