Daniel Zhang, Alibaba Group CEO, has welcomed China's draft rules which are designed to crack down on monopolistic behavior by online giants. He said: Industry "development and government supervision is a relationship that promotes and relies on each other, so that platform enterprises cannot only develop well themselves, but also serve the sustainable and healthy development of the whole society." Recently, China is changing some rule books  on how digital platforms operate. Those changes affected Ant Group's planned IPO which has been frozen. Ant is an affiliate of Alibaba.
