Mr. President has scored an own goal against himself. I am not sure how this would help his re-election mission. Who can help me make sense why NOT passing or negotiating for a stimulus helps him? I mean, with millions out of work, and many companies to make furloughs permanent job cuts, freezing this stimulus via a tweet could be strategically challenging for a re-election.
