Work from Home will normalize the Gig Economy. With software robots, labour would become plug and play, and our notion of work will evolve. As software eats the world, massive dislocations will happen. GM used close to 900,000 workers to serve 300,000 customers in the late 1970s; today, Facebook uses 40,000 to serve 4 billion customers. Your job is evolving; you must adjust to keep it.
