Umu Abia, I am honoured for being called to serve as a member of the Board of Abia State Diaspora Commission. As Abians in diaspora, we have an obligation to rebuild the homeland, and now is that time.
Remember, if you live in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, New York, London or anywhere, provided it is Abia State, you are an Abia diaspora. So, all of us in Lagos, Owerri, London, etc have to work together to rebuild the God’s Own State. As you do that, Abia will continue to honour its obligation as a state you would be proud of. Yes, it is not going to be “do this for the state”, the state will also find ways to support your mission, because you are treasured as an Abian.
Meanwhile, on the economic front, something amazing is coming in weeks, and I am counting ALL of us to unite, and support the grand vision of His Excellency, Dr Alex Otti, executive governor of Abia State, as he continues to advance our state. Without your support, we will not be complete and that is why this Commission will make it possible for those ideas you have to come to pass.
