Last night, Democrat Conor Lamb won in Trump country. Yes, a steel-country district which Trump won by 20% about 16 months ago. Last two elections, no Democrat competed. Now, they want to make GOP uncomfortable. They are flipping to reset the equilibrium for Democrats, temporarily.
Nothing is certain. Depending on your political affiliation, you may not like it. But it does work for America. The Americans, the people, own the country. They push the parties to lead to keep their jobs.
I wish one day Nigerians can own Nigeria where we can exert our powers on choosing our leaders.
