The Bad Bunny kept his family near his chest. The Puerto Rican artist made waves during his Super Bowl Halftime Show performance on February 8 by performing some of his greatest hits and honoring his home island while wearing a Zara bespoke suit that had his last name and the number 64 on the back and breast.
The vocalist of "DTMF" told The Cut that the song honored his late uncle. In 1964, Cutito was born. He actually imparted "much of what he knows about the NFL" to the rapper, whose true name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.
“I always dreamed of taking my uncle to a Super Bowl, and I couldn’t,” on February 9, he informed the publication about his uncle, who, at the age of 17, left Puerto Rico to work on the US mainland. “He left unexpectedly, without warning.”
“So, during my Super Bowl halftime show, I decided to have him on my shirt,” he continued. “I dedicated my performance to him before it began. I’m sure he saw it, he was present, and he felt proud of his nephew.”
Bad Bunny's entire ensemble was an all-white Zara outfit that included matching sneakers, a structured jacket with football shoulder pads, and a pair of chinos. The "Callaíta" rapper chose to wear a double-breasted blazer in the same color scheme later in his live performance.
In addition to performing his songs "Monaco," "Baile Inolvidable," "Nuevayol," and others during his 13-minute show inside Levi's Stadium, Bad Bunny paid tribute to the island by walking through sets that featured sugar canes, village homes, elderly men playing dominoes, people eating piragua treats, and a reference to the last Puerto Rican social club in New York.
As Bad Bunny began performing "Yo Perreo Sola" inside La Casita, a number of well-known celebrities joined him, including Cardi B, Alix Earle, Jessica Alba, Pedro Pascal, and Karol G.
What’s more, Bad Bunny was joined by Lady Gaga, who shocked the crowd as she sang a salsa rendition of her and Bruno Mars’ hit “Die With A Smile” onstage as a couple tied the knot. Additionally, Ricky Martin shocked the crowd when he showed up for "LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii.”
Prior going on stage, Bad Bunny gave fans an idea of what to expect without giving away too much.
"I don't want to give any spoilers," the Grammy winner during the February 5 news session. "It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be easy and people only have to worry about dancing."

"They don't even have to learn Spanish," he underlined. "It's better if they learn to dance. There's no better dance than the one that comes from the heart."
