David Jonsson Gives Glimpse into His Black Panther Training.
David Jonsson is showing off his amazing metamorphosis. The Long Walk star revealed his fitness regimen as he gets ready to play the renowned superhero less than two months after being revealed as the new Black Panther in the third episode of the franchise.
Jonsson, who will play the adult version of Chadwick Boseman's onscreen son Prince T'Challa II, who debuted in 2022's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, posed for a selfie while wearing a black Nike Pro T-shirt and exercising in a white-and-gray room in a series of images shared on Instagram on September 19. Additionally, the regimen appeared to be quite demanding. After all, as the 33-year-old grinned for the camera, perspiration was streaming down his face and neck.
Before the Marvel movie, which is scheduled to open in theaters on December 15, 2028, fans learned more about his fitness journey. Additionally, Jonsson shared a glimpse of his recuperation following a demanding shooting day.

The Alien: Romulus actor, dressed in gray sweatpants and a black Henley shirt, stretched out his neck and wrists on the floor of his trailer while listening to a Frank Ocean song in another video that was part of his round-up.
Additionally, Jonsson shared a shirtless photo of himself walking down a route flanked with palm trees, showcasing his toned arm muscles and sculpted stomach.
"Took the rear view out, gave it gas," the actor wrote captions for his collection of photos. "Happy fall y'all."
Jonsson is not the only actor set to appear in Black Panther 3, with Ryan Coogler writing and directing the film. Denzel Washington has also joined the cast, though his role remains under wraps. Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, and Winston Duke are set to return to the franchise.
It is a great pleasure for Jonsson to join the historic cast as the next Black Panther, a position previously held by Shuri (Wright) following T'Challa's (Boseman) death.
"I don't want to say too much because I want to let the screen do the talking," earlier in July, the Industry alum spoke on stage at Comic Con. "But believe me, the honor is entirely mine."
