Elon Musk is about starting a new company, LinkedIn News reports.
Much changed at Twitter this week, beginning with the dissolution of Twitter Inc. The platform is now part of X Corp — a reference to “X, the everything app” that CEO Elon Musk has long wanted to build. And in response to the launch of a rival microblogging service by newsletter platform Substack, Twitter said Friday that Blue subscribers can now use bold and italic formatting and go up to 10,000 characters in tweets. That change came a day after Twitter debuted a feature that enables users to trade stocks, crypto and index funds via online brokerage eToro.
Also on Thursday, Twitter launched Subscriptions, a program similar to its former Super Follows initiative, which lets creators charge for access to exclusive content.
Musk is recruiting researchers and engineers for an artificial-intelligence startup to challenge ChatGPT maker OpenAI, The Financial Times reports, citing anonymous sources.
