Fuel Price Rises In Nigeria: from N165 to N180 per litre
Quote from Ndubuisi Ekekwe on June 21, 2022, 11:54 AM
It is not looking great right now in the oil-villa called Nigeria. I do not know what the nation wants since oil can only go UP or Down. And when it goes up, problems because we have to import refined products at high cost, juicing the process with the more-you-look-the-less you see subsidies. And when it goes down, bigger problems as we cannot fund our budgets. But crude oil prices do not go sideways, unfortunately!
The big news now is that fuel has moved up, creating wahala: “On Monday, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) asked marketers across the country to begin dispensing petrol at N180 per liter and above, as it’s no longer possible to sell at the government’s approved price of N165 per liter.”
People, we’re entering injury time and somebody needs to lead in Nigeria!
