Glo Joins the Fintechnolization Party
In my fintechnolization postulation, I noted that every digital platform, on maturity, will offer a dimension of a fintech solution especially in Africa where financial services remain the operating systems of economies. As MTN through its Mobile Money bulldozes itself into the financial service sector, the grandmaster of data, Glo, cannot just siddon look.
People, Glo has joined the party with MoneyMaster PSB: “Recently, Nigerian multinational telecommunications company Globacom, commonly known as ‘Glo’, has launched a banking payment service platform called ‘MoneyMaster PSB’ to serve both the unbanked and underbanked.”
Mckinsey, a consultancy, noted that fintech revenue in Africa will grow by 8x within three years. And when you have such prospects, everyone joins.
