Google Takes OPay's OPesa Down!

“We do not allow apps that promote personal loans which require repayment in full in 60 days or less from the date the loan was issued"
-Google

That is a clear message to companies like OKash, OPay's lending product in Nigeria. OPesa, the OKash in Kenya, has gone from Google Play. OPay has a weak point on this product - while it is business to offer this service, there is a need to think deeper if something is fair or just taking advantage of desperate people who have limited options. Of course, some can argue that Google is after Opera products because they are competitors. I do not believe that - what Google is doing by removing these (flash) lending apps is the right thing.
