Hailee Steinfeld Says Motherhood Made Disney’s Hexed “Deeply” Personal.

Several girls, but especially her daughter, are eager to watch Hailee Steinfeld's next film, Hexed. The singer of "Most Girls," who is married to Josh Allen and has a 4-month-old baby named Harper, talked about what it's like to work on her first project after becoming a mother and how parenthood helped her develop a unique bond with the Disney animated movie.

“It feels amazing,” at the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on August 14, Steinfeld confidentially briefed media outlets. “The fact that this is a mother-daughter story is so special and it's touched me so deeply, this story and this character of Billie.”

Steinfeld voices Billie Doe in the film, which “follows a teenage oddball and her Type A mom, who discovers her weirdness is actually hidden magic, transporting them to a world where magic can run free,” based on the synopsis of the film.

“I'm just so excited for my baby girl to see this one day,” Steinfeld clarified, “and for the world to see this and embrace these characters and this story for everything that it is. It is pure magic.”

The Sinners actress recently revealed further details about how becoming a mother has affected her since having a kid in April.

“Blame the new mom (or Mother Goose) in me, but I’ve been really sentimental about art recently,” in her Beau Society Substack published on July 24, Steinfeld writes. “The other day I saw a beautiful, framed print of a foal and its mom, and I could not stop staring at it.”

"So precious!" the 29-year-old continued.

She's not the only one who has seen a change since Harper was born. The Buffalo Bills' starting quarterback, Allen, said that the next NFL season is "definitely gonna be different."

"I can't tell you exactly how I'm going to feel right at this moment," in July, Allen informed news reporters, "but it's going to be obviously a lot of FaceTimes, a lot of calls. I don't want to miss anything."

But having Steinfeld on his side will make every touchdown easier. Ultimately, the 30-year-old acknowledged that he was able to "find that balance" as a new dad thanks to his wife.

"Kids are ever changing, and so is your schedule," Allen went on to say that he is "trying to ride the wave right now and enjoy.”
