Jennifer Aniston’s trainer, Dani Coleman, shares insights on how frequently you should be working out.

Jennifer Aniston's trainer, Dani Coleman, emphasizes a balanced approach to fitness. She recommends working out three to four times a week, with four being ideal but three being more realistic for most schedules. Her philosophy prioritizes consistency over intensity, encouraging people to start small and gradually build their routine.

"I always tell clients I aim for three to four times a week," the head trainer at Pvovle said exclusively. "Four being a trainer’s dream, three I think realistic a little bit more for people’s schedules."

And stop putting pressure on yourself if you believe that you have not been able to maintain a routine this day, this week, this month, or even this year.

"Start small," Coleman revealed. "It sounds so cliché and simple, but I’ll choose consistency over intensity any day for clients, and I just want you to get into the habit and the practice of adding daily movement into your life. Consistency over intensity and start small scale up."

Coleman claims that one of the most common mistakes people make when starting a fitness regimen is "falling headfirst and trying to chew off too much."

"It’s important to really honor your body where it’s at and just knowing that it’s the small daily choices you’re going to make that are going to add up to the big picture," she went on. "It’s a marathon. It’s not about the sprint. Because I think it’s easy to get motivated and then to lose your steam. So, find out what your why is and continue to build towards that long term."

Additionally, feel free to change your plan if you simply do not feel up to a full workout.

Coleman who advises listening to your body whether you have 30 minutes or a full tank of energy, it's important to meet yourself where you're at. She believes that fitness is a marathon, not a sprint, and that small daily choices add up to long-term success.

"Whether you have 30 minutes or you have a full tank of energy or you’re running on empty, listen to your body," Coleman restated. "You don’t have to always show up and be at 100, and consistency always isn’t going to operate at 100. There will be days where you meet me, and you’re like, 'I’ve got 50 percent in the tank, and I’ve got 30 minutes.' And we’re gonna make it count and meet your body where it’s at."

Because, in her own words, "We celebrate that no two bodies are same." Coleman is also commemorating the start of Pvolve's Sculpt Anywhere campaign.

If you're curious about Jennifer Aniston's specific workout routine, she trains in three signature formats: Strength & Sculpt, Progressive Weight Training, and Sculpt & Burn. These focus on strength, mobility, and cardiovascular health, ensuring a well-rounded approach to fitness.

"We just did a Sculpt Anywhere tour that took Pvolve all across the nation and brought Jen’s favorite workout to some of our studio locations, but we also launched it across our omnichannel," the vice president of training added. "You could experience the challenge and some of the workouts on-demand or in our live virtual studio as well. It's been incredible to see the reception of it all."
