Jennifer Lopez was spot on with this remark. J. Lo simply wants to be taken out of the story, four years after it was widely reported that the Kiss of the Spider Woman's 2021 split from her then-fiancé Alex Rodriguez was partly caused by purported contact between the former MLB player and Southern Charm cast member Madison LeCroy.
During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live on October 15, Andy Cohen questioned the multihyphenate about the reports, stating that the “Bravo-verse would kill” him if he didn't. J. Lo paused for a bit.
“You know,” she started after a brief pause, "I really have nothing to say about my personal life anymore. I feel like I’m done with that.”

There were speculations that J. Lo and A. Rod had broken up via texts between Madison and Alex a few weeks before to their announcement in April 2021 that they had decided they were "better as friends" and called it quits on their engagement.
Craig Conover, who costarred with Madison in Southern Charm, made remarks that contributed to the suspicions. He said that Madison "flew to Miami to f--k an ex-MLB player" for the series' February 2021 reunion. Madison blasted the allegations during the recording, stating, “Put me on a lie detector test. I never flew to Miami. That’s fake.”
Madison responded to the accusations as they gained momentum that month, telling Page Six that she and Alex had "spoken on the phone" but had never met in person. She also added, "He is never physically cheated on his fiancée with me."
Ron Berkowitz, Alex's representative, informed news outlets of the rumors a few months later. “I'm not sure who's looking to benefit from these types of rumors and false stories. They are factually incorrect. Alex is busy concentrating on his businesses and his family.”
Even while the rumors gradually subsided, Madison addressed it once again in 2023 when she appeared on costar Austen Kroll's podcast. Kroll and Madison dated before the rumors started.
In his part, Austen noted, “You were like, ‘This motherf--ker’s FaceTimed me three or four times today.’ And then he, like, got mad at Madison because she didn’t answer when she was on the boat or something. And she was like, ‘I’m not at your beck and call.’”
Madison, who wed Brett Randle in 2022, responded by saying, “I told him, I said, ‘If you’re looking for a side chick, which clearly, he was, it wasn’t gonna be me. I’m wifey material.’”
