Katy Perry shares a photo of her bloody knee injury after a mishap during her concert.

Katy Perry let out a cry of agony during one onstage moment. The singer of "Firework," who is currently on the Canadian leg of her Lifetimes Tour, gave a glimpse into her recent past, including an incident at one of her shows that resulted in a bleeding knee.

Katy shared a picture of a huge, bloody cut on her right kneecap as her legs were resting on the bathtub rim in her August 6 Instagram roundup. Additional bruises formed in a circle around her knee.

In the following slide, the "Teenage Dream" singer texted her buddy, "It was a slide on my knees mome that usually makes them go ahhh, and it just made me go arghh."

The post also features a video of the child doing a puppet performance and a picture of Katy and her ex-boyfriend Orlando Bloom's 4-year-old daughter Daisy.

"We continue to be on tour," was the simply caption the former American Idol judge wrote.

However, Katy's injury was not the only episode of her Lifetimes Tour that ended badly. Indeed, three days prior to her post, the 40-year-old approached McKenna's assistant after the young fan was taken on stage to join the singer and passed out shortly after.

In an video, Katy remained by McKenna's side while a medical team treated her. She informed the audience later in the performance that "McKenna's doing great by the way."

The "California Gurls" singer also experienced an unanticipated and almost deadly situation during her performance in San Francisco last month. The prop, which was flying over the audience on a massive mechanical butterfly, abruptly fell a few feet while they were riding it around the arena. Fortunately, Katy held her ground and nobody was hurt.

With the caption, "Goodnight San Fran," Katy posted a zoomed-in photo of her shocked, spontaneous reaction to Instagram after the show, laughing off the frightening mishap.
