Kim Kardashian has officially graduated from law school after six years of rigorous legal training! Her journey included taking the "baby bar" exam three times before passing in 2021, as well as completing 5,184 hours of study while balancing her career and family. She celebrated this milestone with a small commencement ceremony attended by loved ones, including her sister Khloe Kardashian and her children.
"All of you guys have been on this journey with me," Kim began in her speech, which was shared on Instagram Stories. "It did start with Van and me. Well, it started with the Twitter video that I saw that popped up."
The 44-year-old revealed that she began researching criminal justice reform because she was "dumbfounded" by the status of the judicial system at the time. As a result, she took the "baby bar" exam, which marks the end of the first year of study for students enrolled in unaccredited law classes, three times before passing it in 2021 and starting a four-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm in 2018.
She also took the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) in March, according to numerous publications, a critical step in becoming a licensed lawyer. According to Kim's legal adviser, who also spoke during her graduation, the SKIMS businesswoman studied "18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year for six straight years."
She said, "That is a total of 5,184 hours of legal study," "She made a name for herself during that time by raising four kids, managing businesses, making TV series, and appearing in court to support others."
Kim's resolve to pursue a legal career like her late father, Robert Kardashian, has undoubtedly touched her loved ones.
"This was years and years in the making," Khloe gushed in her own Instagram Story video. "This was just such a cool accomplishment and I'm so proud. This was really inspiring and motivating."
The Good American co-founder added, "So happy for her."
Although she has completed her studies, she still needs to pass the California Bar Exam to become a practicing attorney. This is granted every year in February and July, per the State Bar of California. Quite the achievement—what do you think about her dedication?
