Lambrini Girls have pulled out of their Coachella performance after the singer suffered an acute brain injury.

The Lambrini Girls won't be performing at Coachella in 2026. After Phoebe Lunny, the main vocalist of the punk band, had a severe brain injury and shattered her neck, the band withdrew from the lineup.

"We are so gutted guys," Phoebe, who leads the group with Selin Macieira-Bosgelmez, revealed in an Instagram post on April 8. "We want to be there so badly."

"If it was a broken leg, I would do a Dave Grohl and play it," she went on to mention a 2015 show where the frontman of Foo Fighters played from a chair due to a fibula fracture. "This isn't something we are taking lightly and we are really sad."

Phoebe continued, "Because it is my neck and brain, our hands are tied for now."

How did they get hurt? According to Phoebe, she misdiagnosed her neck fracture when she was in Australia, which led her to seek "late treatment."

"Doctors orders are I can't fly or perform for 6 weeks," the musician from the United Kingdom revealed. "But I'm lucky and expect a speedy recovery thank f--k lol."

Additionally, Phoebe shared a picture of their hospital robe cheekily pushed up to reveal their thong underwear, demonstrating how well they're recovering.

"Seeing people of all ages, genders and backgrounds come together to mosh, lift each other up, cry, scream in both parts joyful and angry, is my greatest joy," she went on to say. "Thank you for always showing up for us."

However, one of the Lambrini Girls had already been forced to miss a performance. Selin, formerly known as Lilly Macieira, declared in September that she would be taking a month off from touring in order to concentrate on her mental well-being.

"I’ve always struggled badly in touring environments, and despite my best efforts, those struggles have consumed me entirely and spat me out again," the bassist posted a message on Instagram. "Growing up with bipolar and autism undiagnosed until four years ago, I’ve lived entirely accustomed to severe discomfort as a baseline for existence."

After experiencing "one of the most intense and destructive manic episodes" Selin saw that they needed to take a step back and "try to simulate a safe environment, to mend the foundations."

“I’ve betrayed myself for so long at nobody’s cost but my own," she continued. "No more cosplaying from me."
