Margot Robbie revealed that she grew “codependent” with Jacob Elordi during the filming of Wuthering Heights.
The spirits of Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie are same, regardless of what makes them. The Barbie star demonstrated this by describing the experience of playing Catherine opposite Jacob's Heathcliff in the Emerald Fennell rendition of Wuthering Heights, which is scheduled to open in theaters on February 13. She said that she became "codependent" with Jacob "quite quickly."
“I remember the first couple days on set, he would just be like, always in the vicinity of where I was, but in a corner watching,” Margot, 35, remembered in a panel Fandango interview with the cast and crew on January 14. “On the third day, I found myself starting to look around to see where he was. I was like, ‘Well obviously he’s going to be somewhere close by. Where is he right now?”
Margot, who married Tom Ackerley in 2016, said she felt "unnerved and unmoored" the first time Jacob was out of sight.

“I felt quite lost,” she acknowledged it. “Like a kid without their blanket or something. I was like, ‘Where is he?’”
Jacob, 28, remarked that it was a "mutual obsession."
“Regardless of plot or screenplay, if you have the opportunity to share a film set with Margot Robbie, you’re going to make sure you’re within five to 10 all the time,” he continued. “Watching how she drinks tea, how she eats her food.”
"I was enamored by her," he said.
There are other actors who fall in love—platonically—on set, even though Jacob and Margot were going a little too far to portray the star-crossed lovers. In addition to meeting his longtime companion Eva Mendes on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines, Ryan Gosling has become close to Emma Stone, who portrayed his love interest in Crazy, Stupid, Love, Gangster Squad, and La La Land.
The Bugonia actress, who married Dave McCary in 2020, stressed that their chemistry in the latter movies is a reflection of how they "really hit it off" on the set of the 2011 romantic comedy.
“We've been just pals ever since,” in 2017, she informed media outlets. “He is a wonderful person, but also an incredible actor.”
