Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, made a surprise appearance at the 2026 Met Gala.
Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg identified their destination as the 2026 Met Gala. The pediatrician and Facebook entrepreneur made their Met debut on May 4 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Instead of walking the red carpet, they went inside to see the "Costume Art" exhibit.
For the "Fashion Is Art" dress code, the longstanding couple looked stylish. Priscilla, 41, donned a red gown with long sleeves, a turtleneck, and a tiered, pleated skirt, while Mark, 41, wore a traditional black tuxedo and black bowtie.
Inside the Met, Mark and Priscilla, who were married in 2012 and have daughters Maxima, 10, August 8, and Aurelia, 3, were spotted speaking with singer Jon Batiste and fellow internet tycoon Adam Mosseri of Instagram.

Even though this was their first time attending the Met Gala, Mark and Priscilla had previously celebrated the fashion industry by attending Milan Fashion Week in February and attending the Prada presentation in the front row.
"Thanks to Prada for having us in Milan!" was the headlines for a carousel that the Meta founder posted on Instagram at the time to commemorate the event and Priscilla's birthday.
With a clip from the movie Grown Ups in which Adam Sandler tells his buddies, "We gotta go to Milan," to which David Spade replies, "Milan, what?" Priscilla also enjoyed herself and convinced her husband to follow suit. Italy? What's happening in Milan?
"When in Milan" was her caption for the video.
Mark and Priscilla have made every effort to keep their relationship private over their nearly 14-year marriage and 23 years of dating. Nevertheless, they have never hesitated to express the significance of their love for one another.
"As I reflect on the 21 of Mark's birthdays we have spent together," in 2024, Priscilla posted on Instagram, "one of my favorite things about Mark is how he really, truly believes in people."
She went on to say, "He sees the potential in all of us. I have no idea what adventures are coming next, but I'm here for all of them. Here's to many more."
