A letter written by a Lagos school proprietress telling parents of a hike in schools fees in 1989. Yes, from N5 to N10. Very painful how Nigeria has lost it.
I have to admit, the situation is clearly very difficult for the average Nigerian. It used to be that even in difficult circumstances such as this, the people are consoled by the fact that they can trust their leaders on a plan to resolve the situation and make them feel at ease based on steps currently taken.

I believe the most pressing situations are cost of food and transportation which as well as an unstable currency. These truly the government must go after with as many incentives that can drop the costs considerably till things stabilise in the world market especially local production. I expected local production of food grains and the rest to thrive currently, yet the otherwise is the case. I will say that current measures by the government have not be aggressively innovative enough.
There is a tipping point for anarchy, I hope we never be to that point. God bless every Nigerian.
