Niniola Announces Four-Track EP ‘Without You’ in Tribute to Late Husband Michael Chiedu Ndika.

Nigerian singer and songwriter Niniola is set to release Without You, a four-track EP dedicated to the memory of her late husband and manager, Michael Chiedu Ndika, who died in May 2026.

The project marks Niniola’s first major musical release since his passing and represents a deeply personal chapter in her artistic journey, transforming grief, memories and loss into music.

Niniola announced the project through her Instagram page Aug 20, 2026, sharing the artwork and track list for Without You alongside a message that captures the emotional foundation of the EP.

“Some songs are made to entertain. Others are born from moments that change everything,” she wrote.

The four-track EP features “Pain,” “Raining (o dun mi),” “Teardrops,” and “Somebody’s Baby.” The titles themselves reflect the emotional weight surrounding the project and its central theme of absence and remembrance.

Niniola’s announcement presents Without You as a body of work shaped by deeply personal experiences following the loss of Michael Chiedu Ndika, who was not only her husband but also her manager and an important part of her professional journey.

The project is scheduled for release on August 21, 2026, with fans able to pre-add or pre-save it across major streaming platforms.

The EP’s artwork further reinforces its intimate character, featuring a tearful visual of Niniola behind a rain-covered texture, while the title Without You speaks directly to the sense of absence at the heart of the project.

For Niniola, the EP offers more than another musical release. It becomes a personal tribute and a means of preserving memories through her art following the loss of someone whose presence played a significant role in both her personal and professional life.

With Without You, Niniola invites listeners into a vulnerable chapter of her story, allowing music to carry emotions that words may not fully express.

The journey begins on August 21.
