Noah Kahan Reveals He Nearly Peed His Pants After Emotional Emmys Performance.
At his 2026 Emmys performance, Noah Kahan wishes he could've circled a restroom. The singer of "Stick Season" acknowledged that his anxiety almost overcame him after taking the stage at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 14 during the Emmys in memoriam tribute for superstars including Catherine O'Hara, James Van Der Beek, Eric Dane, and Hayden Panettiere.
“Honored to have sang tonight to the memory of so many legends,” following his performance, Kahan remarked on X. “Also, I almost pissed my pants cuz I was nervous.”
Kahan performed a rendition of Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge over Troubled Water" during the poignant tribute, joining Macaulay Culkin, Annie Murphy, and Dan Levy in honoring the lives of some of Hollywood's biggest talents.

“I think it's a perfect song to encapsulate the hope that comes with so many of the people that we lost this year,” on September 14 during the 2026 Emmys, Kahan confidentially informed the press. “The bright lights we've lost: Dolly [Parton], Catherine [O’Hara], so many incredible artists.”
“I think the song speaks to the hope and love that they brought to the world,” he added. “And I'm going to try to kind of give some of that back with a song tonight.”
Prior to the event organized by Mariska Hargitay, the singer of "Orbiter" also hinted to an impending musical project, albeit he was cautious not to reveal too much.
“I can't tell you anymore, really, but yeah, we've got something. I got that thing on me right now,” he added. “I got something in the works.”
The 29-year-old held his cards close to his chest despite wearing an oversized black suit and bow tie for the occasion, primarily because he joked that his publicist would "throw me into the trash can over there" if he disclosed anything more.
“But very excited about what we have,” he went on to say, “and it was a really cool opportunity.”
