Parenting With Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck Jokes He's Only “75 Percent as Good.”

Ben Affleck is conscious that he might not be as good a dad as Jennifer Garner. And he appears to be quite okay with it.
In fact, the Gone Girl star remarked that Garner sets the standard so high as a mother that it makes him seem awful while discussing his co-parenting relationship with his ex-wife, with whom he has children Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 14.

“Their mom is spectacular,” Affleck appeared on a sneak peek of Sunday Today with Willie Geist on October 9 “And it always makes me feel like I’m coming up a little short.”
The Oscar winner made a joke about telling his children that he's "doing about 75 percent as good as your mom."
“And they’re like, ‘Maybe 40 percent,’” he laughed as he continued. “I’m maxing out. Woo, B+!”
In all honesty, though, Affleck, who divorced Garner in 2015 after almost ten years of marriage, said he was really "grateful" to have a co-parent such as the actress from 13 Going on 30.
“I respect her,” the 54-year-old stressed, “I think the most important thing is having that mutual respect—being able to get along with that person.”
Actually, throughout his press tour for his most recent movie Animals, Affleck has frequently praised Garner and their solid co-parenting bond.
“I work hard, and then I go home and pick up the kids from school,” in an interview that was published on October 7, he tells Variety. “We have dinner if they agree to hang out with me. They’re with me for a week, then with their mom for a week.”
“They have a great thing with their mom,” he added, “for whom I’m also really, really grateful.”
In the end, the Good Will Hunting actor had nothing but great things to say about his life at home and his job.

“I know things will come up that are hard, and I don’t want to jinx that,” Affleck acknowledged, “but this time in my life as a human being is really wonderful.”
