Good People, it is that cycle where we need to evaluate our “runway” and build models to be sure bad things do not happen. The global economy is showing massive dislocations and the cracks are super-evident. I had a call with a big hedge fund today; the indicators going forward in the next 6 months do not look really promising.
This is not to cause panic. But take time and examine “what if”. Are the school fees protected? Are the rents/mortgages covered? How far will the funds we have in the bank/liquid assets go? You must have a plan - and keep cash. Also, do you really need to go on that vacation?
When Meta (Facebook) asks 10,000 to go. When Amazon asks 10,000 to go. Think of something brewing in the global economy. People, the rainy season seems to be closer. Now is the time to plan.
