On August 20, they welcomed Vincent Keith May, who wrote, "Welcome to the world my rainbow miracle baby."
"After this very long journey to get here, words cannot describe how blessed and truly grateful we are. Forever living in our baby love bubble until further notice," she went on to say. "Ok I can’t stop crying happy tears. Thank you, God."

Posing with their sonogram pictures, the couple initially announced their pregnancy on Instagram. She stated in the caption of the February 24 photo, "We have been keeping a little secret…." “Baby May Due August 2025.”
“After struggling through years of infertility, this is the absolute greatest blessing we could ever possibly ask for!” the 37-year-old went on. “We are so thrilled to finally be able to share the news of our little miracle with you all! Our hearts have never been so full of love, we can’t wait to meet you baby!”
This wait has been especially difficult. On the November 21 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Sammi talked about her experience with in vitro fertilization (IVF) and disclosed that she had lost a pregnancy.
“This has been a very long process, it's been a lot of shots, it's been a lot of hormones,” she stated to the camera. “Just the thought of even being pregnant was such a magical moment for me, and just to have that taken away—it's devastating for me.”
She and Justin have relied on each other for support during the difficult times.
“Me and Justin are actually going through this together, and he is so supportive through the whole thing,” Sammi revealed at the time. “He's very positive. He keeps me going and he couldn't be a better partner with this all. He's just amazing.”

Exhibit A: Two years into their relationship, Justin surprised the reality star by popping the question and proposing to her on a birthday dinner with family and friends the same evening that Sammi revealed her miscarriage on TV.
“I feel like the luckiest girl in the world," she clarified. “Justin coming into my life made my life a million times better. He is just everything I could ever ask for in a man. He's patient. He's supportive and I just love and adore him so much.”
Additionally, the former bartender was only one of Sammi's recent changes. The original Jersey Shore star chose to return for season six, bringing her partner along for the adventure, despite initially choosing not to film the Jersey Shore revival, which debuted in 2018 six years after the original series concluded.
“I missed filming all those years,” in July 2023, she gave Variety an explanation. “Why not come back and try it again, give it a shot, and see if I like it.”
“I’ve gone through a lot through the past years,” she went on to say. “It’s been so long and whether it’s good or bad, at least everybody can see me again.”
