Shakira, BTS, and Madonna are gearing up to headline the inaugural FIFA World Cup halftime show.
These international performers are eager to have a good time. On July 19, BTS, Shakira, and Madonna will perform at FIFA's first World Cup Final Halftime Show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
“A FIFA World Cup first, the Halftime Show supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund,” in an Instagram post on May 14, the team declared, “a landmark initiative working to raise $100 USD million to expand access to quality education and football for children around the world.”
Therefore, $1 from each World Cup ticket sold will go to charity in addition to the spectacular halftime spectacle, which was organized by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. The competition begins on June 11 and is held throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico.

In a YouTube video, Chris went on to describe his objective for the halftime show with a little assistance from Elmo and the Muppets. “There's singing and there's dancing and there's music and it's a chance to show how amazing all different kinds of humans are.”
Regarding the halftime show, will there be any surprises? The vocalist of "Fix You" hinted that there will "absolutely" be some.
This will be Madonna's first World Cup appearance, but Shakira is no stranger to the competition—her hit song "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" served as the event's official song in 2010. The 67-year-old is getting ready for the July 3 release of her album Confessions II, which coincides with her once-in-a-lifetime performance.
In the meantime, promotions for the 2022 World Cup have used one of BTS's songs, "Yet to Come." They are currently on their Arirang World trip, and once the European portion of the trip is over, they will fly into the halftime performance.
