The new NFL contract for Patrick Mahomes is unbelievable. According to his agent, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs agreed to a two-year contract deal worth more than $500 million with the NFL team on June 10. Additionally, Patrick is now the highest-paid player in the NFL thanks to the revised contract, which is an extension of the 10-year deal he signed in 2020 and is the richest in the league's history.
"The magic continues," in an X post, Equity Sports made the announcement. "Congratulations @PatrickMahomes on signing the largest contract in NFL history... yet again. $504.75M. Historic. Game-changing. Record breaker."
Additionally, Patrick, who has spent his whole NFL career with the Chiefs, voiced his excitement about playing for the team for many years to come.

In a June 10 Instagram post, he wrote, "We are here to stay!" along with a cute picture of himself, his wife Brittany Mahomes, and their children, Sterling, 5, Bronze, 3, and Golden, 17 months, posing at the signing of his contract renewal. "Love this place and the people that are apart of it."
Patrick continued, "Thank you all for being there for me and my family everyday! We ain’t done yet tho!"
Additionally, his high school girlfriend, whom he married in 2022, honored her husband's historic signing by posting a carousel of family pictures from the ceremony, where the entire Mahomes team was dressed in Chiefs colors. The Instagram photo was captioned, "Red is our color & Kansas City is our home."
Who else expressed their congratulations? In response to the news, Patrick's longtime Kansas City Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce wrote, "LFG!!!!!," along with a number of flame emojis, in the Instagram post's comments area.
The groundbreaking contract for the team's standout player has thrilled other prominent members of the Chiefs organization.
In a statement to media outlets, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid described Patrick as "the whole package" and stated that he's "done a great job as a professional, and then off the field as a father and husband."
Furthermore, he characterized Patrick as "a great representative of the organization and a heck of a player."
Starting with the 2027 NFL season, Patrick will earn an average of $64 million annually with his new contract.
