The Ultimatum's Riah Nelson Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby With Trey Brunson
Fans of the hit reality show The Ultimatum are in for a big surprise: Riah Nelson, one of the contestants who had to choose between two suitors, is pregnant and expecting a baby with Trey Brunson, the man she picked in the finale.
Riah announced the happy news on her Instagram account, sharing a photo of her and Trey holding a sonogram. "We are over the moon to announce that we are expecting our first child together! We can't wait to meet our little bundle of joy in [March 2024}. Thank you all for your love and support throughout this journey. We love you!" she wrote.
Trey also posted the same photo on his Instagram, with a caption that read: "I'm so excited to be a dad! Riah and I are blessed to have this amazing gift from God. We are looking forward to welcoming our baby into the world and sharing our lives with him or her. You are already loved so much, baby Brunson!"

The couple met on The Ultimatum, a dating show where one person has to choose between two potential partners who have different qualities and lifestyles. Riah, a 25-year-old fashion designer from New York, had to decide between Trey, a 28-year-old entrepreneur from Los Angeles, and Jake, a 26-year-old firefighter from Chicago. After spending time with both men and getting to know them better, Riah chose Trey in the dramatic finale that aired in June.
Since then, the couple has been inseparable, posting photos and videos of their romantic dates and trips on social media. They also moved in together in LA, where they are planning their wedding. According to sources close to the couple, they are very happy and in love, and they were not expecting to get pregnant so soon, but they are thrilled about it.
Riah and Trey are not the first couple from The Ultimatum to have a baby. Last year, Season 1's winner Kelly Jones gave birth to a daughter with her chosen partner, Matt Smith. They named their baby girl Mia, after the show's host.
