I read there was a fire outbreak at  the headquarters of Nigeria’s office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) today. As we hope everything returns to normal, I want to encourage WAEC and similar agencies to pay visits to banks. They need to implement offsite recovery playbooks even as they digitize their certificate assets. WAEC holds the most important digital archives for Nigerian/West African professionals and must be protected.
