If your thought is as good as mine, then you would know that it is always my pleasure to welcome us here at all times as the spirit permits. If you are already in my heart, you would realize that I could not wait for a moment like this to come.

Previously, we thoroughly talked about ‘the moment of truth’. The outing took time to tell us nothing but the gospel truth. The edition made us understand fully that not all that glitters is gold, especially as it concerns the forthcoming Presidential election in Nigeria.

It informed us in a language we would understand the nitty–gritty concerning the impending polls. It made us acknowledge that though several persons had indicated interest to vie for the number one seat in the country, many would definitely drop their intention before the race began.

Today, I want to tell us that we can never shy away from reality. It is my own way of informing us that anyone who tries to ignore reality is just deceiving him/herself, to say the least. It is my way of telling us in a clear language that one who is far from reality is doing himself a whole lot more harm than good.

This edition is interested in telling us what reality truly means and why we must not avoid it. It is interesting to fully educate us on what reality actually represents and why it is like life itself.

Reality is that thing that exists. It is what is happening around us. It is those things that are actually within us. Reality is the real nature of everything instead of the way someone imagines it to be or interprets it. Therefore, the reality of a situation is the truth about it, especially when it is unpleasant. In other words, it is the way something really appears.

In Nigeria regarding the awaited presidential polls, the reality remains that only one person is the most qualified and outstanding aspirant among all the individuals that have so far seemingly shown their interest to participate in the race.

The reality surrounding the awaited electoral race is that many of the present aspirants will soonest decline from the journey; needless to say that almost all the aspirants will in no distant time be left with no option than to give way for those who truly and genuinely want to pilot the affairs of the country come 2019. This is absolutely a reality we must not shy away from.

In view of the above fact, we are expected to understand that only a few of them, if not just one, is really out for this journey; they are the only ones truly determined to see to the end because they have decided and vowed not to be on the fence when issues concerning the wellbeing of Nigerians and the country at large are discussed. Like I have always said, only such aspirants are ready to take the passengers to the desired destination.

The serious-minded ones are simply the reality because they really exist. They are the only aspirants we can easily assess any time, any day; the only one with an address. Above all, they are the only aspirants very close to the people; the only aspirants found within the reach of the electorate irrespective of our social or political affiliations.

The aspirants in question can be reached whenever we feel like doing so. They are accessible because, they are at every corner of the country and can never be hidden regardless of the circumstance. They are like goldfish. The earlier we comprehend what they represent, the better for us and the country in general. They are always around us to enable us find out if they are really the reality. It is left to us to locate them, hence the ball is right in our court.

My dear people, we have no choice but to embrace reality. We cannot continue deceiving ourselves by dwelling on things that do not exist; things that are not in any way found in this world; things that can never be with us and have never been.

We cannot continue to shy away from the reality life brings. The reality is life itself, because he who is close to the truth is definitely fully alive; the reality is the truth and fact. The realities are the things we can see with our eyes wide open; they are the things that do not require a spectacle before they could be seen.

Shying away from reality is simply like seeking for doom, even when we are very far away from the aforementioned ugly situation. If it has been proven by this edition that it is highly bad and harmful to avoid the reality, why then should we continue to shy away from it?

Fellow Nigerians, the reality is here with us, thus we must embrace it to the fullness. The reality is all we need to get it right as far as Nigeria is concerned, and the time to fully embrace it is now.

Remain blessed as I urge us to keep a date with the crusade as usual.
