The Kamala Harris’ Moment in the US Presidential Debate, And My Call That She WON

Just to make sure our great members here understand the value this feed brings. Ndubuisi is fair, balanced and unbiased. The challenge most times is that most readers are biased. This is the last update on the US presidential debate between Trump and Harris which I called for Harris as the winner and provided more context here.

On July 3, 2024, I wrote “At a personal level, I am keeping money as I posit that once Donald Trump wins that markets will re-align.” (see source) You can also search Tekedia, LinkedIn and Facebook for that line. That was probably the 3rd time I wrote that Trump would win. My position was that Biden would lose, and all my models were built that Trump would win. I did not write that as a Trump supporter; I am not a supporter of anyone!

When I shared that, many commented that it was interesting that I didn’t even wait for the election before planning about the second Trump presidency. Fascinatingly, most of the same people are now saying that I am all Democrats, and Ndubuisi is for Harris, and that I do not like Trump. Haba.

Good People, I am a teacher. When I put things here, I do all to be apolitical, non-agenda, and non-partisan. Yes, I follow the facts, from my angle. I wrote that Biden had no chance and was discussing the second Trump presidency months before the Biden-Trump debate. Of course, when it finally happened, I was among those who suggested to Mr. President to drop out.

But when Harris got in, I wrote “I am updating my earlier “Trump wins” to neutral as this election is now open.  Yes, there is a massive reset now. Today, it is an EVEN race, but in last night’s debate, using the metrics I used to score debates in Secondary Technical School Ovim, as the library prefect, and school debate leader, Harris won! Kamala Harris Won The Debate Against Trump Last Night

Just woke up here and checked my InMail messages. Many here are not happy that I called the debate for Kamala Harris.  That is unfortunate since I disclosed the basis of my Call. I noted that as a leader of my secondary school debating club, I learnt some few things on winning debates, and I used our old metrics for my call.  

Harris prepared and had her points; Trump did not prepare well and was debating on the fly. Great debaters bail opponents and once that is done, you can drop some points on follow-up because you wanted those points out. Harris did that well last night.

Ndubuisi is not biased in this election. More than 6 months ago, I called the election for Trump and wrote that he would be sworn in next year. I repeated that many times. That was even before Trump and Biden debated. Of course when they debated, I called that Trump WON big time.

However, when Biden exited the stage and Harris took over, the dynamics changed, and I have withdrawn that “I call it for Trump” verdict because it is now open.. 

I am a teacher – I say it the way I see it. Trump did not have a great time last night. He was not focused and allowed Harris to bait him. That said, I did not issue a leadership award; it was a debate performance award. Please, let us not make this hard on ourselves. You can call it for Trump also. But for me, it was Kamala’s night.
