I used to think that CNN was absolutely reliable and credible across all domains. Not even close. It is only credible when it comes to business. But on geopolitics and politics, it is a biased media organization. Nonetheless, in America, if you have a scale of 1 to 10 (10 highest), on professionalism and credibility, CNN gets 6. Others like Fox and NBC get 4. Those are agenda news media and if you watch them, you would be tripped badly.
Without Fox, Trump would not have become president. And without NBC/CNN, Biden might not have had it easier. These channels have their tribes because in politics, you win with tribes. Being at the center as a TV channel on politics is hopeless and never a good business.
At the global level, from BBC to CNN, consistency disappears: Russia bombed a prison it controls 100%, a power plant it controls 100%, a pipeline it built with its money, etc. And the most laughable: we would not name the lady who used bomb to kill a woman in Russia because we had not “independently” confirmed it even though AP, Reuters, etc have named the woman. You will then wonder when CNN confirms all war atrocities before reporting or giving names. When you see the double standard in how they approach geopolitics, you understand one thing: they are humans; do not expect me not to be biased reporting about Ovim, Abia State.

That said, for Trump to sue CNN means that he does not understand he himself is a media organization. He called people “rapists”, “crazy”, etc – and he was fine with those. The “TrumpTV” by the ex-president himself was more verbally lethal than CNN when you see his denigration of Obama birthplace. I wish him luck as he sues CNN (limited chance there to win) but will only add that whatever ordinance he uses to win his case, should be applied against him, on what he has also said about others, including Africans.

You rated CNN above Fox News, by which count exactly? I will rate CNN 3, and Fox News 7! I interpret news, I don’t just follow news. Truth is uncommon in the media, and it’s an aberration to mention CNN and truth in the same sentence.
All the news organizations lost credibility with the reportage on the famous ‘Russian Collusion’, I will never forget that event, because that was the period media lost its remaining credibility. Many people believed the nonsense, plenty lies were told, with unending investigations and the hysteria they all brought, and at the end? HOT AIR! The people who were shouting collusion had more to do with collusion than the camp they were accusing, you cannot let that level of hypocrisy and misinformation slide just like that.
What I do with the news organizations is to gather materials, with that, I figure out what the apparent news is.
Left, Right, the supposed professionals and experts, they are all driven by one agenda or another, and their virtues don’t meet the bar of honest reportage, because they are incapable of telling the truth.
Trump is just shaking some table, before they ruin him completely, because the gang he’s up against are both vile and formidable, they take no prisoners.
