Not knowing when to give up or let things go is a sickness and really a big problem. This thing that some of you have been saying and some genuinely believe that Ahmed Bola Tinubu will be arrested on Monday, the 29th of may (the day of swearing in) and the “stolen mandate” will be restored to Peter Obi is silly & ridiculous.
Obidients, please let us let this one go because it’s gone; instead, focus the energy and plan towards 2027. Regroup, restrategize and learn from the 2023 electoral experiences and apply those lessons. If you keep holding on to the cliche of restoring Obi’s stolen mandate of 2023 the energy you should have used to focus on 2023 will be repressed.
Don’t even get me started on the supreme court will sack Tinubu and restore Obi’s mandate balderdash, believe me, nothing like that will happen. We’d all wake up tomorrow to Tinubu sworn in as Nigeria’s president and he will be there for the next four years unless he answers the call of nature.

I aggressively campaigned for Peter Obi and voted for him so I am a proud Obidient, but immediately after the election result was announced I knew that there is nothing anybody can do about it to change the outcome, not even the courts; I so much wish to be wrong but that is the unfortunate reality of Nigeria. You are only dreaming if you think that the courts will sack TINUBU and declare Obi as duly elected.
Let us even assume that the court will sack TINUBU, if the court does that, the next person in line is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and not even Peter Obi, Atiku came second and Obi came distant third so I am scouting for the magic that will happen for Obi to be declared elected.
All that is needed now is consolidation and working together to move the country forward despite your political divide and political grievances. We all want a better Nigeria, if you have the abilities and the capacities to make an input for a better Nigeria please it’s time to shield your sword and render your services because they are needed.
In elections or contests, there must be a winner and those who did not win, every contender cannot win the same position but the spirit of sportsmanship demands that those that did not win congratulate the winner and all work together for the common goal; to make Nigeria better.
