The friendship between A$AP Rocky and Rihanna require effort. The "Praise the Lord" rapper said that spending quality time is the key to keeping the spark alive in his relationship with the founder of Fenty Beauty.
“You got to spice it up,” he made this statement on the January 22 episode of The Ebro Show. “You got to still date. You got to still be friends. We roll dice. We play cards.”

“Like, she’s a cheater,” he made a joke. “We be playing crazy eights.”
And deepening their relationship only serves to keep love fresh in their minds.
“I love that girl to death, man,” A$AP, 37, continued. “You know, word. We got to keep the funk going because if not, what are we doing then?”
He made these remarks after disclosing how he and Rihanna—who have children together, RZA, 3, Riot, 2, and Rocky, 4 months—first started dating. Renee Black, his mother, is also involved in the romance.
“My mother used to say s--t like, ‘I know you like this girl that you with right now,’” during an appearance on the Jan. 14 episode of Popcast, A$AP recalled, but he stated he wouldn't disclose any names. “‘But I want you with Riri.’”
He added, “I used to be like, ‘Ma why you keep saying that? That girl don’t even want me like that. Like be cool, Ma. Like that’s just my friend. Chill.”
However, Renee was determined to continue having that conversation, which in 2019 turned their platonic connection into a passionate one.
