This hatred isn't felt by Alabama Barker. The daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler responded to body-shaming remarks on the internet by daring to increase her dosage of Ozempic, a Type 2 diabetes drug that some celebrities have been using to reduce bodyweight.
"This is not very role model of me, but I'm gonna get on the highest dose of Ozempic," in a TikTok video posted on July 30, she pointed out, "and I'm going to become so skinny, you're gonna tell me I need a burger, because the way that people body shame me is f--king disgusting."
The 22-year-old went on to deliver a nasty warning to internet cyberbullies, "I f--king hate you guys, and I'm gonna get so skinny. F--k you. No ass, no t-ts, 2027. Bye."
Alabama has previously expressed her concerns about her weight. The influencer admitted in 2024 that she was using "weight loss medication" as a result of being teased about how she looked.
"I have this thing where I photograph so ugly and people are like, 'Oh my god, you're so fat and you're so ugly,'" on TikTok, she stated how she became "tired of being fat and photographing like a damn ogre."
Alabama's mother Shanna, who also shares Landon Barker, 22, with Travis and Atiana de la Hoya, 27, with her ex Oscar de la Hoya, has been candid about using Mounjaro, another Type 2 diabetes medicine with appetite-reducing qualities, to lose weight. However, Alabama did not specify which drug she had taken at the moment.
"I was in a very, very dark place," in a 2024 interview with People, the former Miss USA recalled how she battled her weight after her parents passed away. "I stopped dieting. I stopped exercising. I just ate like s--t. I was so devastated, and I missed my f--king mom and dad."
Even though Shanna "didn't know how to deal" at that point, she now feels more confident.
"I do not give a f--k what anyone thinks of me anymore," the mom of three went on to say. "I'm proud of who I am."
