Barbra Streisand "Cannot Recall" She Engaged in a Romantic Relationship With Warren Beatty.

There is only so much Barbra Streisand can cling to. As an example, the Funny Girl actress recently reiterated her assertion that she just "cannot remember" if she and Warren Beatty ever had sex.

“I know I slept in the bed with him,” in a June 14 interview, she told the New Yorker. “But I can’t remember if we actually had penetration. I swear to God, I can’t. There are certain things I block out.”

"I can't," Barbra, who married James Brolin in 1998, claimed when the interviewer criticized her for not being able to verify whether or not she and the Bonnie & Clyde star had carried out the crime.

“But I know we’re still friends,” the eighty-three-year-old agreed. “Every year on my birthday, he calls me, and we have a wonderful talk about our lives, our children, and so forth. So, we’re still friends. I met him when I was 15 years old, and he was 21, I think.”

Naturally, Barbra, the mother of 58-year-old son Jason Gould and her ex-husband Elliott Gould, acknowledged that she was unsure of many aspects of her own life while writing her 2023 memoir, My Name is Barbra.

“I can’t remember lots about my life,” she went on. “And thank God I had a researcher. I also kept many journals over the years, like when I directed a movie, like Yentl. Notes about the world, politics, everything. So those were very helpful to me.”

The Meet the Fockers star acknowledged that it was emotionally "a pain in the ass" to try to reflect on her past.

“I knew I should . . . you know, for the ages, for the next millennium, I should have a review of my life,” she clarified. “But, for years and years, I thought about it, but never did it.”

But one thing Barbra will always remember? Indeed, she was the subject of Bob Dylan's 1969 song "Lay Lady Lay." The New Yorker heard her say, "Right, right, right."

"It was an extraordinary three hours," she stated, recalling her collaboration with Bob on the duet "The Very Thought of You."
