Bryan Seaver’s Longtime Security Role Ends Following Dolly Parton’s Death.
The estate of Dolly Parton is severing commercial connections with her nephew. Speaking on behalf of the family upon the announcement of the music icon's death on August 25, Bryan Seaver claimed that his long-standing job managing security for his aunt's properties was abruptly terminated after TMZ received his company's termination notice on September 21.
Seaver, the son of the late 80-year-old's younger sister Cassie, told the publication that he was "dismayed by the unexpected and, so far, unexplained actions," which he said came from Pinnacle Bank and Danny Nozell, Parton's former manager.
However, the head of security has stated that he will continue to take care of the "9 to 5" artist notwithstanding the termination.

"We remain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family," Seaver added, "and we refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much."
According to the publication, the notice noted that Seaver's personal stake in the family trust remained unaffected, but it also instantly took away his security access to Parton's properties.
Seaver, Nozell, and representatives of Parton and Pinnacle Bank have all been contacted by news organizations for comment, but they have not yet received a response.
Seaver informed TMZ that despite the job change, he was nonetheless moved by the public's show of support following the news of Parton's passing, which occurred just days after she was sent to the hospital due to complications from a brief fight with cancer. He mentioned how much he valued their working connection, which began with his father Larry Seaver, in the devastating update.
"As her head of security for more than two decades—a role my father Larry held before me—I have imagined the heaviness of this moment, but haven't truly felt it until now," at that point in time, he provided an explanation in the Instagram video. "It is an honor, an honor that is mixed with absolute pride and great sadness."
"Dolly opened doors not just for me, but for her entire family to reach the potential we didn't even know was possible," Seaver continued. "By her example, we believed that anything was possible. She never saw a door she couldn't open, and the doors she opened made and changed history."
In fact, the 11-time Grammy winner was adored by many family members, friends, and admirers whose lives she had impacted over the years.
