Burna Boy to Headline Halftime Show at 2026 NFL Paris Game.

Nigerian Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy is set to headline the halftime show at the 2026 NFL Paris Game, bringing Afrobeats to one of the biggest sporting events on the NFL’s international calendar.

The NFL officially announced the news on September 17, 2026, through a collaborative Instagram post with Burna Boy. The post was captioned: “Grammy Award-winning artist @burnaboygram is set to headline the halftime show at the 2026 NFL Paris Game! 🇫🇷🇳🇬 @nflfrance.”

Burna Boy will perform during the league’s first regular-season game in France, which will see the Pittsburgh Steelers face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, October 25, at Stade de France in Paris. The game is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. CEST.

The Paris performance will be part of seven halftime shows staged across the NFL’s 2026 International Games, spanning seven countries and four continents.

Burna Boy is no stranger to Stade de France. In April 2025, he became the first African artist to headline the stadium. His upcoming NFL performance will mark his return to the venue for another major international event.

Reacting to the announcement, Burna Boy said returning to Stade de France for the NFL event means a lot to him. He also said he would be representing African music and intended to give fans a show they would not forget.

Tim Tubito, the NFL’s senior director of global game presentation, music and entertainment, said Burna Boy was well suited to headline the occasion, highlighting Paris as a major cultural capital with a strong presence of African music and the singer’s previous history at Stade de France.

The 2026 NFL Paris Game will mark the first regular-season NFL game played in France. The event is part of the league’s expanded international schedule for the 2026 season.

Burna Boy joins a lineup of international artists selected for the NFL’s 2026 International Games. Other announced performers include the Jonas Brothers in Melbourne, Pedro Sampaio and Ricky Martin in Rio de Janeiro, Ayra Starr in London, Cage The Elephant in Munich and The Warning in Mexico City.

With his upcoming appearance, Burna Boy will return to Stade de France for another major global stage, this time as the headline performer for the NFL’s historic first regular-season game in France.
