China mutes gaming, US scales retail counselling

The Web is Changing the Gaming Industry - Tekedia

China mutes gaming: "Beijing, which has called online gaming “spiritual opium,” dropped the axe on platforms Monday, saying that minors could no longer play on school nights. The rule, restricting their videogame use to one hour a day on Fridays, weekends and public holidays, sent shares of Tencent and Netease skidding. The move is part of China’s recent efforts to rein in tech companies and combat gaming addiction among youth — online games will now also be linked to a state anti-addiction system."

As China goes hard on gaming, US retail chains are democratizing counselling: "Following a successful pilot program earlier this year, CVS Health is expanding its services to provide in-store counseling for customers. Citing the pandemic as a reason in the rise of those seeking help for mental health issues, the pharmacy giant will join the likes of Walmart and Walgreens to offer therapy in or near its stores. While some experts express concern about mixing retail and therapy, others say easy access to these types of services may push more people to seek help."

I am currently reading a piece on Nuclear weapons and the world’s perspective on it. I can tell you something, while many may hide under the guise of “matter of National Security” to own a nuclear warhead, the truth is that it runs deeper than that.

From Internal fears, to a symbol of prestige, there is good list of other reason but of all “National security” sounds sensible to sell!

So, to better understand how to handle any global deceit it’s good to go back to the fundamental cause or consequence of the issue. In this case consequences. A Nuclear war is suicidal. Yes, while you shoot outward, remember that third law of motion is real.

Back to your topic. Indeed nations fall due to complacency, explaining why many are scared of the future of Global sanity as many become lax over nuclear matter, since the last war happened in 1945- Imagine if this Talibans own a Nuck. Nevertheless, too much work could dull the brain.

China understands that Civilization unguarded could create harm. Yes, the United state have it all yet they had to outsource Chinese to win their last Mathematics Olympic after 30years.

So, the balance again here is first:

Never do good under deceit, it contaminates the results.

Never over regulate.

All said, I am happy the Chinese understand the pathways and pitfalls in pursuit for Civilization.

Good Morning.
