Chronic Venous Insufficiency Diagnosed in President Donald Trump.

A new medical diagnosis has been made for President Donald Trump. According to a memo from the president's doctor, the 79-year-old Commander-in-Chief has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a non-life-threatening illness, following “mild swelling in his lower legs.”
“The President underwent a comprehensive examination, including diagnostic vascular studies,” in the White House statement dated July 17, Dr. Sean Barbabella wrote. “Bilateral lower extremity venous Doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency, a benign and common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70.”
“Importantly, there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or arterial disease.” the doctor continued. According to the Cleveland Clinic, blood pooling in leg veins is a symptom of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), which happens when the veins in one's legs are damaged and unable to effectively pump blood back to the heart.
Additionally, Dr. Barbabella discussed fresh images of the president's hands that “have shown minor bruising on the back.”
“This is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen,” the doctor went on with his statement. “This is a well-known and benign side effect of aspirin therapy.”
"The president remains in excellent health," Karoline Leavitt told reporters shortly before Dr. Barbabella's memo was made public, according to NBC News. That view was also supported by Trump's medical examination, which was made public three months earlier.
According to Dr. Barbabella's April memo, "His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being." “President Trump's days include participation in multiple meetings, public appearances, press availability, and frequent victories in golf events.”
According to the findings, "President Trump is in outstanding physical and mental health and is fully capable of carrying out the responsibilities of the Head of State and Commander-in-Chief."
