Cori Broadus Reveals How Her Health Journey Inspired Her New Beauty Brand.

Cori Broadus is searching for new opportunities. The only daughter of Snoop Dogg is enjoying creating her own cosmetic line, AFTXR, after overcoming major health issues, such as lupus and a stroke in 2024, as well as the death of her infant Codi in January.
For Broadus, this company means more than makeup, it signals the beginning of a fresh chapter.
“I feel like I'm a person that, I stay comfortable,” in an exclusive conversation, she informed media outlets. “So, getting out of my comfort zone and just seeing all the good things that are coming, and just pivoting and trying new things.”
She also believes that anyone going through challenging times in life will be motivated to pursue more by her efforts.
“I want to dominate everything I do, down to the DJ and down to the lip cosmetic brand, whatever I put my hands on, I want to be the best at it,” the 27-year-old added. “And I think just showing girls that look like me that you can do it, girls that have autoimmune diseases—you don't have to limit yourself. The sky's the limit and go after everything.”
She added, “I don't like to say role model because you know nobody's perfect. So, I feel like you shouldn't try to be anybody but yourself. It's just somebody that you know you can look at and be like, ‘Oh, she did it. I can for sure do it too.’”
The name AFTXR, pronounced "after," carries a special meaning. It reflects the belief that life continues, even after the hardest heartbreak.
“I feel like I share so much with the world, and I feel like my life—I left it, I guess you can say, a cliffhanger, right?” she took a moment to think. “Everybody's like, ‘Okay, what is she doing now? What's happening?’ This is literally after everything. So, I felt like that name was perfect for being a cosmetic brand.”
Broadus is engaged to Wayne Deuce. With AFTXR, Broadus wants each user to feel good as they are.
“I want people to feel beautiful,” she clarified. “I want people to feel confident. “I feel like society makes you feel like you have to look a certain way and be a certain way. And I'm always team authenticity.”
In her words, “Just be yourself, whatever shape, form that is.”
Additionally, whether Broadus likes it or not, her father will be available to provide guidance if she has difficulties, particularly as she continues to explore the world of DJing.
“He's a Libra, so he always has to put his two cents in,” she joked about Snoop. “He's successful, so I get it. I understand where he's coming from. I think he sees that I really love it, and I'm actually good at it. He tells me that all the time—he's so proud.”
