Dakota Johnson Has a Message for People Following Her Love Life.
Dakota Johnson is fed up with everyone in her social circle. The Fifty Shades of Gray actress said why she doesn't want to correct the record about her romantic life after being spotted on a walk with Machine Gun Kelly almost a month after several media sources revealed her split from Role Model.
“Even if I go to dinner with my manager or my lawyer, it’s like, ‘Seen with mystery man.’ I also don’t care,” on the September 25 episode of Vogue's The Run-Through podcast, Johnson emphasized that she had no interest in dispelling rumors about her private life. “I think it’s just futile.”
“People are gonna believe what they wanna believe, and I don’t have the energy to fight for that,” she continued. “I would much rather focus on other things in my life. Every day, there’s something on the internet that’s ridiculous and true or not true, and I don’t care."

Instead, she urged people who are particularly interested in her relationships to "get a life."
The 36-year-old has stated that she is purposefully stepping away from social media and that she wants no role in the rumors that are still going around.
“Maybe when I was in my younger 20s, I had a moment of being on social media just for fun and laughs ’cause I love a clever thing,” she remarked. “But I just don’t f--k with it.”
She went on to say, “I feel really uncomfortable with the constant documenting of people’s lives.”
Johnson attracted attention when she went out with MGK earlier this month. According to pictures acquired by TMZ, the two were spotted getting out of a black SUV in New York City.
Johnson, who once dated Chris Martin, recently acknowledged that she has a type when it comes to artists, even though the outing took place weeks after she and Role Model (real name Tucker Pillsbury) broke up.
When asked about the present state of her romantic life, Johnson first told Vogue in an interview published on September 18, "I don't want to say anything about that." However, she did acknowledge that the males who seem to be interested in The Social Network star are skilled vocalists.
"They like me," she made a joke.. "I don’t know what to say."
Johnson paused for a moment before continuing, "And I like them."
After the interviewer asked, "What's not to like?", Johnson came back with an even cheekier line.
"A lot! A lot," she laughed as she spoke. "Tricky motherf--kers."
